These Raw and Messy sessions aren’t tutorials. They’re not polished. There’s no voice-over explaining every step. Just me, showing up with paint-stained fingers and all, and doing ‘the work’.
I started filming these videos for people like me. People who need a little nudge to get started. Who don’t always want to create alone. Who find comfort in watching someone else just… begin.
Raw and Messy Sessions are about being in the messy middle. The place where your desk’s a disaster, your mind’s all over the place, and nothing feels finished, but you keep going anyway.
You don’t need to follow along. You don’t need to know what you’re doing.
You just need to sit down, grab your art journal, junk journal or sketchbook, and make something. Anything.

I even decided not to post it. But the next day, I sat down, still stuck in that familiar spiral of insecurity. And then it hit me: this is the video.This is what art journaling is really about, showing up messy, unsure, imperfect. So here it is. Unfiltered, fragmented, and real.
