Hi, I’m Marieke, founder of Studio Bloknote and the creator of the Raw Art Method, a powerful approach to self-expression through visual art.
With over 15 years of experience in teaching art journaling and mixed media techniques, I’ve inspired thousands of makers to embrace their messy, authentic creativity.
My personal journey as an artist has been shaped by a love of imperfection and a rejection of traditional rules. From graphic design to teaching and creating my own courses, I’ve always been drawn to the raw side of art. I started Studio Bloknote to share this passion with a global community of creative rebels.
When I’m not art journaling, you’ll find me designing letters, cooking, dancing, studying art, urban sketching, reading or writing. Activities that fulfill my need for personal growth, creativity and self-expression.
