Studio Bloknote is the creative practice of Dutch artist Marieke Blokland, where visual art, language and raw self-expression come together.

Marieke’s work brings what sits just beneath the surface into view: thoughts, feelings, questions, contradictions and small personal truths.

Handwriting, mark making, symbols and graffiti-like doodling become direct ways to think, question and reflect.
