1.4 Why Handwriting Matters

We type almost everything now. Our notes, our thoughts, our feelings, even our grocery lists. It’s fast and it’s practical and it leaves almost no trace of who we are.

Handwriting is different. It’s slow in a useful way. It’s physical. It’s yours in a way that a font never will be.

In this video, I want to make the case for writing by hand, not as a nostalgic exercise, but as something that actually changes how you think and what you’re willing to say. When you write by hand, the words feel more real. More committed. Sometimes even more honest.

That’s not an accident. And it’s worth understanding before we go any further.
